When I moved to our house in 1965 and went to OK elementary I was all alone and knew not one person. Duane was the first person to welcome me and be a nice person to me. He told me who was nice and who was not and led me through the steps of a new era. Most of all he was a true person and had only good intentions. We had many hours of fun, playing pool, chess, swimming, running around the neighborhood and doing the things that kids do from 11-16. He was always a person you could depend on. Norman Thole
