David was amazing, he could swim like a fish. I remember we had a test in gym class and he was so high he could not walk. I was worried about him making it. He swam 38 laps. He was my friend and I think of him often.
David Winn was one of my very best friends growing up at Garrison Elementery. His father and my father were also friends. We also had classes together at North High our sophomore year. I remember espcially having English with him I think our teacher's name was Mrs. Nichols. We were always laughing in there. He could make us laugh until we were splitting out sides open! I still miss David.
