Roger Dollarhide

NEWTON – Roger W. Dollarhide, 63, passed away July 21, 2016, at his residence surrounded by the love of his family.  He was born December 30, 1952, in Tarrant County, Texas.  He worked at Coufal X-ray and later Via Christi in radiology repair and contracting.   On January 2, 1988, he was united in marriage to Patti Moser.  Their union was blessed with one daughter, Lily Rose.  Roger always had time for a friend, was an avid sports participant and fan,  and brought smiles with conversation about things no one else would dream of saying out loud.  In spite of his many physical aches and pains, he was not content to let life pass him by.  He lived by the motto “Git R Done”, and influenced others to be better than they thought they could be.  He is survived by his wife Patti of the home; a daughter, Rose Dollarhide a senior at K-State; and his siblings:  Louis Dollarhide of Oklahoma City, OK; and a sister, Mary Kay Schroeder of Los Alamos, NM.  A private family service is scheduled.  Arrangements entrusted to Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater.  Online Condolences may be left at www.zeinerfuneralhomes.com.

Roger was upbeat and always open to be friendly with me. We had a few good times together and although I was not part of say Rogers ire circle we always laughed and communicated. He was a very good person. God bless Roger.
