Stephen H. Polson, 67, of Hillsborough died Sunday, December 6, 2020. He was born August 25, 1953, in Hays, KS, and lived most of his youth in Wichita. He graduated from Wichita North High School where he lettered in track and football. He earned his MBA at Emporia State University, where he met his wife, Dee Lillich. For over 40 years he was a business manager with AT&T. In high school I knew Steve as a gentle and kind soul. But until reading his obituary I did not know how gentle and kind. His love for dogs was so touching and dear, and I loved learning that about him. Lucky are those who got to eat his world famous bar-b-que chicken. I wasn't one of those, but I was lucky enough to know him for a short while when we were young. He will be missed terribly by his family, his friends.... and his dogs.
