I taught English for 12 years at Norwich Jr/Sr High, 3 years at Pratt High School, 2 years at Chaparral High School, and 13 years at Cheney Middle School. I also taught as an adjunct for Pratt Community College. Loved every minute of my 30 year career.
Well... Robyn Ash and I were smoking cigarettes outside of the building. One of the assistant principals caught us, but Robyn was "holding" the cigarette so she got the punishment. Lucky for me. I hope it wasn't Harold Bohm; he is a neighbor and a friend now for the past 20+ years. ha ha And, I no longer smoke, which is the best part of this story.
